Bowie was enrolled into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. David Bowie has a total of 27 albums! He’s also been on many television shows such as MTV, Sonny and Cher, Spongebob Square Pants, and more. This shows his versatility as an artist.
David Bowie likes to make up characters for his albums. In the collage image shown, the picture in the middle and to the right is the character called Ziggy Stardust. As a result, David Bowie named the album “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.” The album has a total of 11 songs. I love the album from beginning to end, and song #2 is my absolute favorite. The album is about Bowie’s character, Ziggy Stardust, coming to earth to experience new things such as the ups and down of life. As we all have experienced new things living in this pandemic, I am sure we can all relate to the message Ziggy Stardust gives in the album. Have a listen and I hope you enjoy it!
